After a 3 days of attending full day seminar + 8 hours work, I’m super exhausted. I woke up at 12 noon today. That’s how tired I am. It has been a long time since I last woke up so late. I’ve gotten quite a lot of new knowledge from the seminar. Just like all other seminars I’ve attended, I’m at the highly inspired/motivated level now. XCool is extra motivated, more than me. I guess it’s because the subject falls within his area of expertise.

Anyway, I came to know about this website www.richwoman.com which is a website owned by Kim Kiyosaki. Sounds familiar? She’s the famous Robert Kiyosaki’s wife. Wow. I’ve read her introduction about herself and a little on the website’s content and I’m in awe. I would love to be the owner of RichWoman.com and be able to say all those things she’s saying. How great will that be?

It’s the second half of January. That means I’m one step closer to all the awesome events that will happen in this year. Happy happy! *clap clap*

Third Sale

Since Sunday, something has been on my mind. My potential buyer told me he will get back to me on Monday. I am not a big fan of making sales follow up call. I was fidgeting thinking about how to go about it if the buyer doesn’t call. Then, I remembered what I’ve learnt from Abraham-Hicks. I wrote down on a paper to make a list of “Things for Universe to do”. One of the things I wrote was to have the buyer call me with positive news on the sale so that I can close the deal. On Monday, I waited but there wasn’t any call. I told Universe in my mind that I’ll give her another day to do her magic. My buyer called me this evening and he was motivated to close the sale.

My mind was screaming “Yahooooooo!”

As soon as I hung up the phone, I danced around XCool’s room. My third sale and the biggest one thus far. There are some conditions I need to iron out between the buyer and seller. They are both strong-headed person and I got lectured a little by the seller. Universe is giving me lessons on how to deal with all types of people. I will persevere. This sale is mine!

This afternoon, XCool and I went to pay hotel banquet deposit for our wedding. I want to engage an external decor so the flowers the hotel had in their packages were of no use to us. I had been wishing and hoping for them to permit an exchange for other things we need. I wanted unlimited corkage and free LCD projector rental in exchange. After a quick and dirty calculation, that would save me at least RM2500 as I expect to have a lot of wine bottles that night. I added this into my list of “Things for Universe to do”. You know what happened? After we sat down with the banquet manager and I highlighted the point, she quickly told me she will upgrade my package to include unlimited corkage and free LCD projector rental. I was blinking excessively with happiness (don’t know if she saw it haha). I don’t even to make effort to negotiate with her. Then, I haven’t been very happy about them giving free flow of cordial and charge us for soft drinks. I prefer soft drinks to cordial. I mentioned that to her and she upgraded our package from cordial to soft drinks. Happy!!!!! I’m going to blow my guests away with an awesome wedding. Everything is falling into place like how I want them to be. Now… what theme should I go for?

New Achievements

This week had been a really busy week. I have no complaints, though. Why? I’ll you why. I’ve closed my first sale in the new career I took up!! But wait… don’t be too happy yet. It’s not only one sale but TWO! Wahahahaha. Happiness. I’m really beginning to enjoy the rewards from this new part-time career. I have clients coming to me voluntarily either to help them or to help their friends. It’s a great feeling to be able to contribute by doing what I like the most. No rest for the weekend yet. I’m taking care of my shop as I’m writing this blog entry. Tomorrow is Sunday and I only get a half-day rest. I have a meeting with another prospect at night. Money is pouring in while I’m doing what I love. Thank you, Universe!

Another highlight for this week -> we’ve identified another possible part-time business to go into. He’s working very hard to research on this new thing. It’s his specialty. I see a lot of opportunities in this. Today I called an ex colleague of mine (also my MM friend) and I found out that he left rat race few weeks ago. I’m so happy for him! Also, I am not sure if I’ve mentioned this but my dear friend Pei San left rat race last month too! Couldn’t be happier for them. Enjoy the freedom, folks!

Things are looking up. I think the lessons I’ve received from Abraham-Hicks really brought me back up again. I feel so lucky to have friends who are approachable and constantly remind me what life is really all about. Thank you, Universe!

In Abraham-Hicks words, I learnt the normal Law of Attraction things that I’ve already known. In addition to that, the new thing I’ve learnt so far is to let my emotions be the guide. Just like how a sculptor will use their hands to mould their art into the shape they want, we should listen to our emotions and let it be the guide to mould the energies towards what we want. We should be alert of how we feel at all times. If you have negative feelings, try to acknowledge that and then divert your thoughts to something that will bring back the happy emotions.

I have many more audio tracks to listen. Will share with you more as I go along. Everyday, I try to be positive and just let things go. I think he has caught up with my energies and also work towards more improvements. I’m happy to have a soon-to-be husband who is so understanding and flexible. The fact that he’ll listen to me and reflect on himself makes him different from all the guys I’ve ever dated. He’s here just to accompany me while I take care of my shop for long hours. I’m smiling while I write this. Thank you, Universe!

Priorities

Some very interesting things have been happening. Much as I want to log it here so badly, I won’t. It’s P&C. However, something was running in mind while I watched my staff close the shop today.

When I started this blog, my intention was to become a Money Magnet (I still am btw). At that time, I was placing all my focus and priorities on making money. It is as though that became the purpose of my life. While doing so, I realised more and more that money really ain’t that important after all. Sure, I won’t argue. Money is important to survive and live a comfortable life. But that’s about it. Maybe I should change my nickname… nah. It’s okay.

I learnt that there are many other things in life that are more important. Biggest one of all is love. Romantic love, friend’s love, family’s love, love for animals, love for your passion. Get the idea? Love, love, love. Nothing but Love. I truly love the people around me and I know that love is the best gift I can receive from them. I choose Love. Thank you all.

Well, I think I’m one step closer to finding my life purpose. Love is definitely one of them.

I’m sorry if I might stop writing about money making journey materials. I just think that it’s better for me to keep them P&C. Sorry. I’ll probably log some not so P&C stories and my happiness when I make achievements in that department but you may not know what it’s all about.

Dear Universe,

Thank you for bringing positive people into my life. I have learnt a great deal in the past few days. I know I’ve lost my balance for some time now. Now, I’m back on track and I want to be better. Thank you for teaching me all these lessons albeit thru some life ordeal. I know now that these lessons are important for me to be better. I am wiser now. I am stronger. I am grateful for being alive and enjoying every single moment of it.

I am excellent in selling because I sell with integrity. I care about my customer’s needs. I sell because I love selling. Positive people are attracted to me. I’m grateful for that.

By the way, I’m going to change my property investment plan. Time for me to multiply. I’m eyeing two potential areas and waiting for the right deals to come along. Property investment is so rewarding when you do your homework properly. I love this game a lot. Property investment will be part of the source of my wealth. Thank you, Universe!

After watching those LOA videos, I googled the lady’s name and found her blog. She has some very interesting articles in her websites. I was reading this particular one, which includes a video of Anthony Robbins interviewing John Reese.

The descriptons that she wrote about a Progress makers are very inspiring. Read it here.

Many people know the concept because we’ve read/heard about other people’s success. We acknowledged it but how come only a handful in a million people will practise it. We tend to lose ourselves and that’s why reading these things again and again can help as a reminder.

I am back! Stronger, better, wiser. I will let go of the pain. I know someone out there is making his/her way here. Wonderful! Meantime, I’ll be patient. Thank you, Universe.

Changing My World

Been really busy. Doing what? Changing the fate of my business thus changing my world. I think things are going well. I’ve hired an experienced F&B talent to straighten up my system. You know what? I now realize I don’t have a system at all. Paid so much money to take up this restaurant franchise and the franchisor didn’t guide us in this area. Geez. Note to self: Be careful when you choose a franchise. Make sure you find out what are the support your franchisor will provide. These homework are worth doing.

Since hiring this person, I have reduced my staff count saving me RM3000 a month at least. Firing my staff sure wasn’t easy, though. Then, my supervisors were trained to take up more responsibilities, which equates to me having more time later on. Yippie! Many more good things to come. Next thing to tackle….efficient control over inventory and reduce cost. Yay!

In view of me having more free time from now onwards, I’m still looking for opportunities to build few more sources of income. One at a time, of course. Finally, the other day, I had an idea. Thank you, Universe! Now I am doing my homework on this idea. Can it work out? We’ll see….

Starting Afresh in 2010

Hello!!! I’m back! How do you like my new look? Ho ho ho. I missed my blog. Was so used to writing my blog that I suffered a few weeks without it. It kept me happy. Hard to believe but it’s true. My relationship with my blog is bigger than what I thought. During the down time, many of my friends have been asking me to revive this blog. Thank you, friends, for your support.

This time round, my blog will be slightly different from the former one. Then, you must be wondering where are the entries from my old blog? They are GONE! You can’t find them anymore. I know. Silly me. I did something to it and the files are gone! Nevermind. Never too late to start all over again.

2009 was an exceptionally good year for me. These are some of the highlights/achievements in random order.

Left corporate rat race permanently without any income/opportunities
( I had only my brains and lots of energy).

Worked part time as a Malaysian Rep for Forex Asia Academy while setting up business.
Received a big cheque.

Attracted a wonderful guy
(who is 99% close to what I’ve asked Universe for).

Appeared in Personal Money Magazine for an article I sent to a friend in The Edge.

Bought an F&B business and it was launched in July 2009.

Bestie 5th Fookie tied a knot. *Sob Sob* (happy tears).

Social network expanded and I have more friends now!

So… what’s next in 2010? 2010 is going to be another awesome year because Law of Attraction is great. I will continue to adopt the practice.
