I took up my Herbalife diet again. What do I mean ‘again’?
It all started in 2007. I had a little too much weight from a hormonal imbalance caused by depression. After my depression ended, my weight was still higher than what it used to be. When Herbalife was introduced by my cousin in November 2008, I decided to give it a try. I did a strict Herbalife regimen and lost 5 kgs (perhaps more). Then, I stopped and vowed to maintain.
This time round, I’ve decided to do it again because I’ve started putting on some weight again. I want to lose at least 3 kg. I started on Monday and suffered a little headaches every now and then. Herbalife diet does not only look into weight loss but also detox. I’m thinking the headaches could be a sign of my body’s detoxification process. Last time when I did this diet, I wanted to sleep all the time. My consultant said that I was feeling that way because I probably didn’t have enough sleep and my body wants to make up for that. After one/two weeks of feeling sluggish, I finally gained my energy back. Hopefully, this time is the same. Off with the headaches ASAP.
Herbalife is a MLM company and sorry to say, I am not a big fan of MLM but Herbalife really worked. The best part is that it slims down body parts that should be slim and spares body parts that shouldn’t be slim…..if you know what i mean. ;P

I survived a food poisoning drama. After a series of vomiting and diarrhea, I am still alive. Phiew!
The night after my Penang trip, I started throwing up non-stop. Any water I drank, I threw them all up. Then, there were mild diarrhea too. Went to see a doctor yesterday morning and he prescribed some medications for me. However, they didn’t work very well and I ended up puking a few more times. I spent the whole day sleeping yesterday to gain back my health. XCool came and accompany me but I was sleeping most of the time.
This morning, I woke up feeling better and normal again. This is the worst food poisoning drama I’ve ever experienced. I wonder which food caused this?

Yes. You’ve heard it right. I’m turning vegetarian. Not exactly yet, though. About one and a half years ago, I’ve made the decision to stop beef intake. I made a pact with the Universe to give me something I want and I’ll stop eating beef. Well, I’ve got what I wanted.
This time round, I’m going to stop eating pork and chicken. I didn’t make another pact with the Universe. I just want to be healthier. XCool is with me so it makes things easier. Being a carnivore for all our lives, cutting meat from our diet can become quite a challenge. For now, we still take seafood – mainly fish because I am not a big fan of prawns, squids, cockles and crabs. Eventually, when we’re ready, we might also cut seafood out.
It has been two weeks now. The first week was tough. Both XCool and I had withdrawal symptoms. We felt very weak and fatigue all the time. To help myself, I tried to psycho myself that meats are poisonous. As for XCool, he reminded himself of the teachings of taoism. It goes something like “why would you want dead carcass in your body?” It’s working so far. I have no more cravings and so haven’t he. Blue ribbons for both of us!
Many famous people are vegetarians. Just to name a few, my mentor Anthony Robbins and XCool’s role model Steve Jobs. Then there’s Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, William Blake and many more!
My favorite vegetarian dish from Sakae Sushi – Vegetable Kakiage … yum yum!
