Sun, Fun and Robbins!

Published by under Just For Fun,Life

In two more days, I’ll be off to meet my idol, get some life-changing inspirations from him, have fun in my pre-wedding honeymoon and relax. A little nervous about walking on fire, though. The past few weeks have been so hectic that this is something I look forward to. Thank you, hubby, for making this trip happen.

On top of that, I received some good news last few days. Really happy. Today, another very good news. Happy.

I’ll blog if I have free time in Australia. ;) As for now, tudeluuuu….

Wedding Decorator – checked!

Published by under Wedding

After many many months of scouting for a good and reasonable wedding decorator, I finally found an excellent one! I went thru a few ones that seem quite good but ended up either really expensive or not competent enough. It’s quite challenging to find someone who would understand your taste and not just in it for the business. It appears that this lady I’m engaging is truly passionate about what she does. Her charges are so reasonable and she’s such a jolly person to work with. Happy! So so happy that I found her.

After our first meeting, she went back and did a lot of research on my theme. Today, she came up with so many wonderful ideas. Some ideas I’ve never even thought about it. I even found my wedding cake today. I’ve been looking for a fake dummy cake for so long and there it was sitting on her display shop. It’s a little old but I told her to spice it up and she’s totally cool with it. Getting a real cake is really expensive. I don’t think I’ll be serving the cake so it just doesn’t make sense to get one. But then again, most people focus on the cake because it’s the only outstanding item on the stage but it can’t be too ugly. I won’t be decorating my stage much so the cake is a very important decoration to have.

I have yet to reveal who she is but I will… I just want to confirm my booking before I share with everyone. Stay tuned.

Wedding decorator (by far, the hardest thing to scout for) – checked. Wedding cake – checked. Car deco, flower bouquet and corsages – checked. Wooooo hoooo! Next are wine supplier, wedding favors and invitation cards.

Valentine’s Day

Published by under Just For Fun,Life,XCool

Yesterday, I had my first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. Even with his really busy projects going on right now, he spared the whole of yesterday for me. We went for an early dinner in this place called Kissaten at Jaya One. They serve Japanese Western Fusion food and it’s delicious.

After that, we went for a movie, Shaolin. The movie was pretty good and it is a true example of how dirty politics are. Men are willing to kill and commit all sorts of unethical acts just to have name and power. Ish!

I had a fun time, indeed. Somewhere in our conversations, we were teasing each other about regretting on signing the marriage papers. After some teasing sessions, he said “Just joking! Of course I didn’t regret. I just regret not knowing you earlier.” Awww…. That is one of the best things he had ever said to me (or anyone else have said to me). <3

This is a picture of me, fooling around with my top. Haha. I’m a ninja/terrorist!

I hope everyone had a Valentine’s Day as good as mine. Sometimes it’s not about the flowers, or the chocolates, or the jewelries. Sometimes it’s about the thoughts. You can say that everyday is Valentine’s Day but have you really celebrated your love any other day? Most people who said “Everyday is a Valentine’s Day” don’t really do. What’s so wrong about having a special day to celebrate love. (Btw, it’s not only romantic love but also love for your family, friends and etc.) Romance is what determines the long term potential of a couple/relationship. I hereby wish all the couples in the world to have never-ending love and romance. Enjoy it because you can…

More ROM Photos

Published by under Wedding

From all the photos my friends took, these are the ones I love the most! So fortunate to have such great photographers as friends…

Portraits photos taken by Steven at Marriott Hotel

Really really love this picture very much! Didn’t know the fountain behind made it look very fairy-tale like. Well done to camera man!

The shoe I’ve searched high and low for. Really really like it. Although pricey but so comfortable. Thanks to him for insisting on this pair and buying them for me.

An upclosed profile photo taken by my good friend, Pei San.

How do I feel? I feel extremely happy. I’m still feeling the endorphin rush in my head. Why? Because I’m glad that the day went so well. My family and friends were so cooperative. All that I’ve planned were enjoyed by everyone. I’m happy that I have Steven and some other friends who helped me in photography. I’m happy that I found Marriott Hotel. The hotel was perfect for portrait photos. We stayed back for our complimentary one night stay, 3 free meals and free spa treatments. Totally worth it!

We finally left the hotel at 4pm today and went for a movie. The Green Hornet. Pretty okay. Jay Chou is as cute as always.

So tired now. Going to turn in early tonight. Good night! :)

I’m so vain

Published by under Wedding

I’ve been shopping for ROM things and I’ve been acting so vain. Hard to imagine that I’m behaving like a bridezilla even though I’m no where near that for other things. Haha. I just have to get the nicest and prettiest things.

The most challenging to shop for was my shoes. It was either too expensive, heels not sexy enough, too sexy design, too much diamante, etc etc etc …. I think we’ve scouted so many shopping malls and finally found the right one in Tangs Pavillion KL. Then, I also made him go for a haircut in the saloon I always frequent. The barber is good. I even bought colorvue bigger eyes contact lenses.

The best of all is the lunch I’m going to provide for participants. Everyone who is coming are the people who matters the most to me. People who I care deeply about and vice versa. A person once said we can test whether a person is a true friend but asking yourself…if you are stuck in Brazil and you call the said friend to come “rescue” you. Will he/she come? A true friend will just hop on the next plane to come. All the friends coming will pass this test with flying colors. That’s why I wanted to give them a good lunch for their time.

Anyway, back to the topic. I was looking for a good lunch venue but had a lot of headaches because there’s just not many restaurants in Putrajaya. Somehow, I felt that Universe answered my call for help and landed me in a page that offers Marriott Putrajaya Premier Plus Membership. I bought the membership. Now, not only will I be spending less for the lunch in a 5 star hotel but I can also have a one night complimentary stay. Happy!

I’m all set now. Thank you, Universe!

Rich Woman

Published by under Life

After a 3 days of attending full day seminar + 8 hours work, I’m super exhausted. I woke up at 12 noon today. That’s how tired I am. It has been a long time since I last woke up so late. I’ve gotten quite a lot of new knowledge from the seminar. Just like all other seminars I’ve attended, I’m at the highly inspired/motivated level now. XCool is extra motivated, more than me. I guess it’s because the subject falls within his area of expertise. :D

Anyway, I came to know about this website www.richwoman.com which is a website owned by Kim Kiyosaki. Sounds familiar? She’s the famous Robert Kiyosaki’s wife. Wow. I’ve read her introduction about herself and a little on the website’s content and I’m in awe. I would love to be the owner of RichWoman.com and be able to say all those things she’s saying. How great will that be?

It’s the second half of January. That means I’m one step closer to all the awesome events that will happen in this year. Happy happy! *clap clap*

My Dream Wedding Bridal House

Published by under Wedding

I have a confession to make. I’ve been very vain going around bridal houses to window shop. This is the reason why I haven’t been online much. Haha.

Yesterday, I visited My Dream Wedding Bridal House and I got hooked on their European style gowns. I tried one gown and loved it so much. XCool couldn’t take his eyes off me. The person who serviced me was so friendly and I ended up spending a lot of time understanding their packages. I didn’t even bothered to ask further details when it comes to other bridal houses’ packages and there I was asking every single detail in this bridal house. My sister actually advised me to visit them for the longest time. She’s right. Their dresses are lovely. What’s just as good were their photo albums.

Initially, I wasn’t planning to take pre-wedding photos because I can’t seem to find a good reason for that. If you think about it…what’s the point in pre-wedding photos? I know many who has suffered just to go through these photo shooting session. Wouldn’t actual day photos be good enough? But this bridal shop representative was so friendly and he told me they were going to do some promotion for New Year and i’ll get to enjoy it pre-New Year. When I compared the package prices of gown rentals with and without pre-wedding photos, it’s just a few hundred difference in price. So i thought, why not? While chatting, I realised he wasn’t just any representative but also their photographer! Oh, what fun it will be to do photo shooting by him. He’s a very cheerful person with a lot of taste. All the gowns he made me try were gorgeous and flattering.

Today, I brought my sister along to get her opinion. The representative took out more gowns for me to try. Those that he thought I would like. He’s got good taste! In fact, I already fell in love with two gowns. Tried on one gown that I ‘thought’ I’d like but turned out I hated it. Will listen to his advices from now onwards. He knows best! I continued to negotiate the package with him. He threw in a lot more things into my package but told me to spread the words about them. So this is me telling the world about them. Haha. Lets hope they follow through their words. After spending an hour plus in the shop, we finally paid the deposit. Yippie!

Ho ho ho! Bridal House/Photography/Gowns-checked. Next in the list are Decorator, Wine Supplier and Invitation Cards.
