Valentine’s Day

Published by under Just For Fun,Life,XCool

Yesterday, I had my first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. Even with his really busy projects going on right now, he spared the whole of yesterday for me. We went for an early dinner in this place called Kissaten at Jaya One. They serve Japanese Western Fusion food and it’s delicious.

After that, we went for a movie, Shaolin. The movie was pretty good and it is a true example of how dirty politics are. Men are willing to kill and commit all sorts of unethical acts just to have name and power. Ish!

I had a fun time, indeed. Somewhere in our conversations, we were teasing each other about regretting on signing the marriage papers. After some teasing sessions, he said “Just joking! Of course I didn’t regret. I just regret not knowing you earlier.” Awww…. That is one of the best things he had ever said to me (or anyone else have said to me). <3

This is a picture of me, fooling around with my top. Haha. I’m a ninja/terrorist!

I hope everyone had a Valentine’s Day as good as mine. Sometimes it’s not about the flowers, or the chocolates, or the jewelries. Sometimes it’s about the thoughts. You can say that everyday is Valentine’s Day but have you really celebrated your love any other day? Most people who said “Everyday is a Valentine’s Day” don’t really do. What’s so wrong about having a special day to celebrate love. (Btw, it’s not only romantic love but also love for your family, friends and etc.) Romance is what determines the long term potential of a couple/relationship. I hereby wish all the couples in the world to have never-ending love and romance. Enjoy it because you can…

AppSwitch

Published by under XCool

I haven’t been updating my blog for a few good days as I was too happy being busy. Two days ago, XCool released a new app called AppSwitch. It went up the ranking within a day. Now at top 100 for overall apps in US store and #6 in Utilities category. ^^ I’m so proud of him. It’s very creative of him to come up with this idea and he “made a dent in the Universe” (claimed by him). He’s now not only the best iPhone Developer in Malaysia, he’s even the best iPhone Developer in the world. :) Congrats again, darling!

1 Year Anniversary

Published by under Life,Tze Ping,XCool

One year has passed since the day I told him I’ll ‘try’. At that time, I wasn’t really ready to dive into another relationship and I didn’t think I could. Taking the risk was the best decision I’ve ever made. It seems like we’ve been together for a long time but it has only been a year. Quite amazing if you’d ask me.

There are many uncertainties in life. In fact, chances of getting a 100% sure thing in life is almost next to nil. I’ve broke some hearts and got my own heart broken before. I know change is the only certain thing in life. No further doubts that things will change and our relationship will continue to change every single day. Nevertheless, I am quite certain that we’ll make it through.

Here’s a song dedicated to you, darling. You really got a way with me and I can’t wait to move on to the next chapter of our lives together.

(Don’t you just love Shania Twain? I do! I do! She’s sooooo gorgeous and talented. I’ve always like her songs.)

You know, I’ve asked him so many times why does he love me but he hasn’t given me an answer that is ermm.. acceptable or at least satisfactory. Most of the time he just blabbers something to bypass the awkward moment. Well…?

Anyhoo, anyhow, anyway, Happy 1 Year Anniversary! Muaksss! Love you more and more everyday.

The News Is Out

I’m Engaged!!! :D

I’ve wrote a little about my birthday getaway. What I haven’t told you was that XCool proposed to me during the trip! Here’s what happened…

Actually, this whole trip was planned by him and it was supposed to just be a trip for the two of us. We reached there on Saturday. I kept asking him why he booked a weekend holiday. The room rates were more expensive and the resort was so packed with people.

On Saturday night, he surprised me with a candlelight dinner. So…did he propose during the dinner? No! After we’re done with dessert, he told me he has another surprise for me and hurried me back to the room. He made me stand outside while he went in to get something to blindfold me. The whole time, I was like ” What are you doing?” Boy.. being a blind person is not easy. In fact, it’s very scary! But he kept holding me and reassuring me “It’s okay. just walk.. I’m looking out for you”

He led me thru bushes and hills to a place where the surrounding was brightly lit. I can feel that we’re on the beach. Sands were beneath my feet and there were smells of candles burning. He said “Your friends are all here”. What quickly came to my mind was…this must be a surprise birthday cake.

When I untie the blindfold, I was shocked! This was what I saw…

XCool was kneeling in the fire heart made out of birthday candles with a bouquet of 99 roses. I turned my head around and saw my fookies (besties) were there too! As he said the words “Will you marry me?”, I was so shocked I still haven’t register in my mind what was actually happening. When I finally processed all these, I teared a little. I went to hug and kiss him. My friends were like “So what is your answer?” Then I quickly said “Yes!” Of course it’s a Yes.

Oh my God! I did not expect all this. Caught me off guard. I later found out that XCool paid for extra rooms in the resort to have my fookies witness this whole proposal.

He’s so sweet.

Thank you fookies!!

Here’s my bling bling engagement ring! It’s a Lazare! ^^ According to XCool, Lazare is to diamond like Mac is to computer. Highest quality, best cut. Haha

I’ve been staring at the stone non-stop. It’s very mesmerizing.

Thank you, Darling! Muaks!

Now, I have a wedding to plan…

Birthday Getaway

Published by under XCool

Yesterday was XCool’s birthday. I arranged a 2D1N getaway to a nice resort in Port Dickson called Avillion. This was after hearing so many good reviews about it from MalaysianBabes forum and also from my best friends themselves. One day before our trip (Thurs), XCool fell sick. I was so upset because I couldn’t change the room reservation date. So we decided to continue with the initial plan.

On Friday morning, I picked him up and he was still a little sick. When I realized that we forgot our cameras, I became even more upset. We used his GPS to guide us and for some reasons, it led us through all the winding trunk roads. The journey was probably prolonged even though the GPS suggested that route because it was “the shortest time” route. I got even more upset.

Eventually, we arrived at the resort and got ourselves a water chalet room. It was lovely! There was a four poster bed and really really big bathroom (half open aired). The resort itself is really beautiful. Next to them was a small beach area with really clean sand. I think the resort conditioned them. They were so soft you can hear squeaky noises when you walk on the. No joke! There were two swimming pools in the resort and we spent a lot of time swimming until we got hungry.

While showering to get ready for dinner, the electricity in the room went *poof*! Oh what luck! Power outage. At that point of time, I got kinda upset again. XCool cheered me up and took me out to search for somewhere nice for dinner. We came across this seafood village and decided to give it a try. The food was delicious and we kinda over ordered. Look at the size of these tiger prawns…they are as big as a tennis ball! It costs RM8 per piece but Yummmmmm!

After dinner, we went back to hotel and took another walk around the resort. The ocean view was breathtaking at night. I just love the resort so much. At 11pm, having nothing to do, we went for another swim. Haha. How nice…the pool water was warm and therapeutic.

The next morning, we lazed around until it was time to check out. XCool said this is by far the best resort he has been to in Malaysia. I agree with him. I wish that someday I’ll own a villa similar to this resort.

Oh by the way, I gave him a Hugo Boss brown wallet for his birthday. It was bought online and thank God he likes it. :)

Happy Birthday, darling! Muaks!

Objective C

Published by under Business,XCool

Still learning Objective C. XCool called me his apprentice a.k.a. hacker. That’s because I’m not learning Objective C from scratch. I am learning it by hacking his app. :P I’m too lazy to learn it from scratch. So I’ve been using his app as a template and customizing it to my liking. Every once in a while, I will need to ask him for help.

Well, it ain’t that bad. In fact, it’s wonderful! I’ve successfully created one App. Yippieeeeeeee! Now, I am working on the second App. It gets a bit more complicated but still interesting.

This Saturday is XCool’s birthday. Am going away for a short 2D1N trip tomorrow. Yipppieeeeeeee! Time for some R&Rs.

Yawn*

Published by under Business,XCool

Time passed so fast today. I can’t believe it’s 2am now. Today was a pretty boring day. XCool was busy perfecting his upcoming best-selling app. So, I went to his house and played around with Pixelmator trying to design something for the new business.

Two nights ago , I sat down and chatted with a famous Malaysian blogger for a good two hours. She is very much younger than me but already very enterprising. Inspiring. I’ve learnt a lot from her. Thinking back the days when I was at her age, I was wasting my time and don’t know what I want in my life. Never too late to change, I guess. This lady has a bright future ahead of her.

I can’t wait for the short trip up north end of this month with XCool. Frankly, we both need a holiday… badly. Yippie! Can’t wait!

Yawn…very tired now. Good night. Yawn. zzzz

Thank you, Universe for giving me a guy who is so lavishly loving and understanding. Thank you!!

Mac mini

This was such an eventful and tiring day. My hands are itching to blog.

My day started with a coffee and two fishballs. Kept my stomach empty for an important and big CNY meal at our beloved 5F’s house! :D

She cooked some yummilicious food and the rest of fookies brought some food too. I brought Yee Sang. We ate and laughed. Then, we watched her wedding videos and laughed. Very quickly, 3 hours passed. We didn’t call it a day yet. Instead, we packed some ridiculous funny food (and laughed) to move on to 4F’s house. We went to 4F’s house and continued to laugh. Get the idea? We laughed a lot!

Soon after, XCool and I went back to Subang to have dinner with my family. My baby brother is leaving for UK tomorrow after being here for a good 3 months holiday.

After the dinner, it’s time to shop for a … Mac mini. You see, XCool needed another backup computer now that he is working on his business full time. What’s better than a Mac? Err… well, basically, nothing. :D We went to Machines store at the nearest shopping mall, Sunway Pyramid, but they ran out of stock! Grrr. After a few calls to ensure availability, we zoomed to Mid Valley’s Machine store. That wasn’t the end of it. They didn’t have the type of cable XCool needed. Grrr. The salesperson made a few calls and told us the cable is available at … Sunway Pyramid! (=.=)’ With my fast great driving skills, we managed to rushed back to Sunway Pyramid in time.

The Mac mini was opened in my house. XCool took pictures of it while unboxing it. (Something he likes to do but I cannot comprehend). The Mac mini is so small, it’s like the size of my home router. It’s just two times thicker. Very cool!

———

I am slacking a little these days. I still remember my goals. In fact, I’ve had a few ideas in my head right now. One of them, I’ll need XCool’s help, which he has already agreed. Yay! Another one needs more research. Will do it after I’m done with payroll next week. Excited.

Universe, please get me connected with more money-making opportunities. Thank you, Universe!

Positive 101

Published by under Life,Tze Ping,XCool

It has been a long day for me. I spent the whole day in the hospital accompanying XCool. He went for a minor surgery to infuse adamantium into his body and become Wolverine (haha… he wish!). He’s okay now and will be discharged tomorrow. Yay! He’s so funny. He kept cracking geeky jokes about becoming a mutant with the doctors. When he returned from the operation theatre still half-numbed and shivering weak, he saw me and asked if I missed him. All the nurses laughed at him and ‘scolded’ him for being cheeky even under the effects of anesthetic. :D

Yesterday, I met up with Lowie and Koon Lip. Amidst our lazy Sunday afternoon conversation, Lowie mentioned to me that one of my readers commented about my positive attitude. It got me thinking. Am I a positive person? I like to write positive things. Does that mean I am really positive in real life?

If you were to know me two years ago, I definitely wasn’t. In fact, I was a pretty negative person at that time. I always think about the worst case scenario in everything that I used to do. An old friend used to advise me to be more like my sister, who appears to be happy all the time.

Hmmm. I definitely think that I have changed to become (a lot) more positive. Being positive is the biggest part about practicing Law of Attraction. It gives more energy to good things. I may appear to be emotionless and calm. I may look unhappy (as most people have told me) but I’m actually very happy inside. Over the years, I have learned to let things go and move on. I’ve wasted one year plus being depressed and I’m not going to waste more time sobbing at any challenges which may surface in the future.

Here are a few tips I’ve developed in the area of Letting Go and Letting God:

1) Give yourself some time to grief – Cry if you need to. Cry as much as you can… until you are extremely tired.

2) Do not blame yourself – There’s this thing about women. They like to blame themselves when bad things happen to them. Sorry for the stereotype but men don’t do that so often. You probably did what you could.

3) Find out what you really want – There is a saying… if you don’t know what you want, how do you expect others to know? how would you expect Universe to give it to you? Even if you got it, you wouldn’t know or appreciate it.

4) Focus on the things you’ve identified in (3) above – Remind yourself everyday that this is what you want.

5) Then, have faith that the item you asked for will manifest itself. It will. Trust in yourself and the Universe.

6) If you are always focused on the things you want, you will find it easier to forget the things you don’t want.

7) After all, happiness is from within. Nobody can make that decision but yourself. It’s all in your mind.

Argh…. few days more to Chinese New Year and I’ve no new clothes yet. Maybe tomorrow….. Good night, folks.

Thank you, Universe for the success of the surgery. :)
