1 Year Anniversary

One year has passed since the day I told him I’ll ‘try’. At that time, I wasn’t really ready to dive into another relationship and I didn’t think I could. Taking the risk was the best decision I’ve ever made. It seems like we’ve been together for a long time but it has only been a year. Quite amazing if you’d ask me.

There are many uncertainties in life. In fact, chances of getting a 100% sure thing in life is almost next to nil. I’ve broke some hearts and got my own heart broken before. I know change is the only certain thing in life. No further doubts that things will change and our relationship will continue to change every single day. Nevertheless, I am quite certain that we’ll make it through.

Here’s a song dedicated to you, darling. You really got a way with me and I can’t wait to move on to the next chapter of our lives together.

(Don’t you just love Shania Twain? I do! I do! She’s sooooo gorgeous and talented. I’ve always like her songs.)

You know, I’ve asked him so many times why does he love me but he hasn’t given me an answer that is ermm.. acceptable or at least satisfactory. Most of the time he just blabbers something to bypass the awkward moment. Well…?

Anyhoo, anyhow, anyway, Happy 1 Year Anniversary! Muaksss! Love you more and more everyday.

I’m Engaged!!!

I’ve wrote a little about my birthday getaway. What I haven’t told you was that XCool proposed to me during the trip! Here’s what happened…

Actually, this whole trip was planned by him and it was supposed to just be a trip for the two of us. We reached there on Saturday. I kept asking him why he booked a weekend holiday. The room rates were more expensive and the resort was so packed with people.

On Saturday night, he surprised me with a candlelight dinner. So…did he propose during the dinner? No! After we’re done with dessert, he told me he has another surprise for me and hurried me back to the room. He made me stand outside while he went in to get something to blindfold me. The whole time, I was like ” What are you doing?” Boy.. being a blind person is not easy. In fact, it’s very scary! But he kept holding me and reassuring me “It’s okay. just walk.. I’m looking out for you”

He led me thru bushes and hills to a place where the surrounding was brightly lit. I can feel that we’re on the beach. Sands were beneath my feet and there were smells of candles burning. He said “Your friends are all here”. What quickly came to my mind was…this must be a surprise birthday cake.

When I untie the blindfold, I was shocked! This was what I saw…

XCool was kneeling in the fire heart made out of birthday candles with a bouquet of 99 roses. I turned my head around and saw my fookies (besties) were there too! As he said the words “Will you marry me?”, I was so shocked I still haven’t register in my mind what was actually happening. When I finally processed all these, I teared a little. I went to hug and kiss him. My friends were like “So what is your answer?” Then I quickly said “Yes!” Of course it’s a Yes.

Oh my God! I did not expect all this. Caught me off guard. I later found out that XCool paid for extra rooms in the resort to have my fookies witness this whole proposal.

He’s so sweet.

Here’s my bling bling engagement ring! It’s a Lazare! ^^ According to XCool, Lazare is to diamond like Mac is to computer. Highest quality, best cut. Haha

I’ve been staring at the stone non-stop. It’s very mesmerizing.

Birthday Getaway

Ahhh… been dying to write this post since Saturday.

On Saturday, I went to Avillion Port Dickson for a Birthday Getaway. I love that resort so much this is the second time I’m there. Swimming at 11pm on their 24 hours swimming pool. Walking on the clean sand, conditioned by the resort. Viewing the breathtaking sceneries of the ocean. Waking up to sounds of ocean waves and rain. Catching a peacock walking side by side next to you on the pavement.

You know what is the best part of all this? Sharing all these things with the people I care about – XCool and the Fookies (wished 4F was here). Here are some photos we took/camwhored.

I’ve been running around today, going as far as Nilai for my business errands. Had a taste of being a debt collector. Geez.

Met up with a few friends for Heng’s birthday last night. Had a lot of fun. Congrats, to Heng, for nailing that big commission! The fella was in all smiles from the moment he walked into the restaurant. Dinner will be on you next time

From Paris With Love

Watched the movie this afternoon. Although the story has an interesting twist at the end, but I felt that the action scenes were exaggerated. Overall, just okay.

Yup. Today (March 16) was a pretty eventful day. Woke up early to spot check my staff during shop opening. Then, went to Pyramid with XCool. He has a business appointment with his friend so I went shopping and drink-coffee-browse-internet at Starbucks. After he’s done with the meeting was when we decided to catch “From Paris With Love”.

Then he came to my house and fire up our Macs. He taught me some stuff and I ~~try to~~ listened as attentively as possible ~~for a tired soul who had a long day~~. Went back to my shop to do closing.

It’s 1:52 am now and I can’t sleep yet! I’ve calibrated my Mac and now waiting for it to be fully recharged before shutting it down. Hurry up, Mac! It’s raining outside and this tired soul needs to go to bed.

*No Pressure* Good night.

P/S: To Heng: NO I didn’t add more comments to the post I can afford them. And NO I don’t know how to do that even though I’ve thought about it before.

I can afford them!

Yesterday, “The Secret” daily teaching lesson that XCool sent me was pretty inspiring. In brief, it teaches us to say “I can afford it” when you see things you want/like. It explained “As you do this you will begin to shift yourself and you will begin to feel better about money. You will begin to convince yourself that you can afford those things and as you do, the picture of your life will change”.

So, I’m going to start practicing this on all the goodies I like and want….

I do feel a little resistance when I am posting those images and words. It feels better when I do it again and again. Law of Attraction rocks. I’m so going to have those things. Yay!
