I have been struggling to come up with something to blog. For the last few days, I’ve been clicking on “new post” and typed in a few things. Then, the “new post” will be trash before I even finish typing. Truth is, I would loveeeeee to blog about a lot of personal things. Can’t. Sorry.
I used to love blogging about almost everything single happy/not-so-happy thoughts that came to my mind. Lately, I have other ways to release my need to share these thoughts. Yes, you’ve guessed it. Poor baby’s gotta listen to me… not that he has ever complained. Sweet man. X.O.X.O.
So what’s the point of having a blog and not maintaining it? My intention of writing was to inspire people to get out of their comfort zone and also to increase awareness on Law of Attraction. I have no idea if these are the results I’ve made. I know I’ve been riding a roller coaster since I started this blog. Maybe it was Universe’s way to inspire me to blog. Hmm… It has been fun. Perhaps it’s time to close this blog. Again. Yes. My 2nd attempt. I prefer to be quiet now. Silence is good. Nevertheless, I’ll think about it.
Before I end this entry, I want to point out that I’m very very happy lately. Things are looking up. Thank you, Universe! I’m going for a seminar this coming weekend in Singapore. My friend got me free tickets to T Harv Eker. Woo hoo! Maybe I will have things to blog after the trip…

For the last few days, I continued my wedding planning project. I researched for good music bands. XCool wanted a band who can sing some Chinese songs so this task became a little harder. I am all in for English songs. Most vocalists who can sing Chinese songs usually cannot pronounce well for English songs. Meanwhile, vocalists who are good in English songs learn Chinese words by heart when they sing Chinese songs. Hmm… Anyway, after searching hi and lo, I’ve found a band which is pretty excellent. I’ve seen them performed live so I know they are good. When I called the main band member, he quoted me a price which was much higher than what I’ve expected.
I want the band so badly I’m thinking of not hiring an emcee and have someone do it for me. Hmmm..
Any takers? Must be someone who can speak English and Mandarin. I’ll give you a big angpow ^^

I’m in Starbucks typing this blog. I love the lights here because it makes my diamonds shine like crazy. Mesmerizing.
A few happy things to note.
I bought an insurance policy lately and I’m happy for the service my insurance agent friend gave. Knowing a few insurance agents, I know there are some very unprofessional agents around. When it comes to insurance, I tend to ask a lot of questions on the proposed policy. Most of the time, the insurance agents cannot answer my questions. Worse, some tried their luck and gave me wrong answers. I’m very careful in this sense because insurance is an intangible product. If an insurance agent cannot give me the confidence in them, I won’t pay them. It’s as easy as that. Lately, I met up with an ex university/house mate of mine. He was extremely helpful, friendly and made me feel very secure. I just bought a policy from him.
Second happy note was that I met one of my ex school mates in my shop two nights ago. I sat down and chatted with him and his friend. We were discussing about our career. This friend of mine just got back from overseas to expand his mum’s florist business. One topic led to another and to my delight, his mum does wedding events decorations too. If that’s not great enough, he told me his mum is the contracted florist for the hotel I’m going to have my wedding! Wow! Thank you, Universe! You have very funny ways of getting me connected to the people I need. I was just blogging about event decorators few days ago!! The only drawback is that I had some unpleasant issues with this friend of mine back in my school days. I suppose everyone deserves a second chance. We were really young and super naive! I’m a different person now and I have to give this friend of mine the benefit of the doubt. Will be visiting his mum’s shop soon. By the way, I know his mum. She used me to be my teacher and a fierce one too. Gulp!
Ending this entry with a shot I took using iPhone 4 before I wrote this entry.

Other than being happily busy with my usual stuff, I’ve been digging for lots of wedding theme ideas. Yesterday, XCool and I took a one day trip to Ipoh to attend my ex colleague’s wedding. It was such a nice event. Simple but nice. I have to prioritize on the things I want. After running thru a few things with XCool, I believe he agrees with my views.
Next week, I’m going to start meeting up with decorators to book their time. I believe my date is a hot one based on Chinese calendar. My married friends advised me to book all the vendors as early as possible otherwise you’ll find yourself being stuck with the rejected ones. Ooooo…. I’ve done hotel. Photographer is done too. Now, the next most important one is decorator. But before meeting up with prospective vendors, I thought I should at least tell them what my theme is. So…. what should be my wedding theme?
Having loads of experience attending other people’s wedding, there’s basically a few types of wedding. Some people doesn’t give a rat ass about decorations. They give more important priorities to other thing. Some, on the other hand, decorate their wedding like crazy giving a lot of attention to details. I would say I’ll be somewhat in between. I want to make it a fun memorable event, not only for us but also for my guests. Usually, weddings with themes take the fun up a notch.
So, to come back to the big question, what theme should I go with? Should I go with a romantic theme? Should I go with Chinese theme? Should I choose one of the four seasons as my theme? I sort of have something in my mind. I’m just not sure how to spice it up.
Let’s hope the decorators will have some good suggestions. Sorry. I won’t reveal it yet cause giving it away will kill the suspense for my guests.

I haven’t been updating my blog for a few good days as I was too happy being busy. Two days ago, XCool released a new app called AppSwitch. It went up the ranking within a day. Now at top 100 for overall apps in US store and #6 in Utilities category. ^^ I’m so proud of him. It’s very creative of him to come up with this idea and he “made a dent in the Universe” (claimed by him). He’s now not only the best iPhone Developer in Malaysia, he’s even the best iPhone Developer in the world.
Congrats again, darling!
