Design 1: Done!

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Just For Fun

Yay! such a noob in using sophisticated software like Pixelmator. I ended up using Keynote, Preview and Pixelmator to get what I want. Haha. Hey… it works. That’s all that matters.

Yawn*

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Business, XCool

Time passed so fast today. I can’t believe it’s 2am now. Today was a pretty boring day. XCool was busy perfecting his upcoming best-selling app. So, I went to his house and played around with Pixelmator trying to design something for the new business.

Two nights ago , I sat down and chatted with a famous Malaysian blogger for a good two hours. She is very much younger than me but already very enterprising. Inspiring. I’ve learnt a lot from her. Thinking back the days when I was at her age, I was wasting my time and don’t know what I want in my life. Never too late to change, I guess. This lady has a bright future ahead of her.

I can’t wait for the short trip up north end of this month with XCool. Frankly, we both need a holiday… badly. Yippie! Can’t wait!

Yawn…very tired now. Good night. Yawn. zzzz

Thank you, Universe for giving me a guy who is so lavishly loving and understanding. Thank you!!

Finding Wonderland

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Business, Just For Fun, Life

“A very merry unbirthday to you…to you”. This tune is ringing in my head. It was from the cartoon Alice in Wonderland by Disney, which I loved to watch when I was young. Last evening, XCool and I caught the new released Alice in Wonderland (in 3D) at TheCurve. It was a fun movie to watch. Bravo, Disney! One thing though, I thought the White Queen looks scary with the black makeup. Tsk tsk. So, where is my Wonderland? I imagine it to be quite different. Hmm…..

Look what I’ve “ninja”-ed from XCool. His iPod Touch. ;)

On Monday night, I went out for dinner with a dear fookie friend. I told her how much free time I have now and that I don’t know what to do with it. I can’t pick up another full time business/work because I still need to spend some time on my shop once in a while. She told me, ” well, get out there and start networking again.” That’s when I realised…oh no! I haven’t been networking!

She’s right. I should. I have been so focused on my business and love life, I’ve stopped networking. Shame on me. Okay. It’s time to get back out there.

Universe, please bring more positive people into my life. Thank you, Universe!

Meanwhile, I found a hobby which I would like to try my hands on. I’ve been reading and watching out for it. ^^

I can afford them!

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Tze Ping

Yesterday, “The Secret” daily teaching lesson that XCool sent me was pretty inspiring. In brief, it teaches us to say “I can afford it” when you see things you want/like. It explained “As you do this you will begin to shift yourself and you will begin to feel better about money. You will begin to convince yourself that you can afford those things and as you do, the picture of your life will change”.

So, I’m going to start practicing this on all the goodies I like and want….

I can afford this!

I can afford this!

I can afford this!

I can afford this!

I definitely can afford this!

I do feel a little resistance when I am posting those images and words. It feels better when I do it again and again. :D Law of Attraction rocks. I’m so going to have those things. Yay!

Oh yah… let’s not forget

THANK YOU, UNIVERSE!

Happy Notes

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Business

This morning, XCool and I went to SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia) to register another business. We were there early and got what we wanted in about an hour’s time. Yay! A new source of income…how exciting!

Read this post Good Service by Lowie about my shop. I wasn’t aware of her experience and reading it from her blog is quite amusing. I’m happy to hear that my staff lived up to her expectations. :)

These are a few happy things to jot down for today. Happy weekend ahead!

Done!

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Business, Life

Done with Payroll and it’s only 3rd of March. I’m (and my staff is) getting better at this. Woo hoo! Yawn …

Dark clouds are cleared too. Thoughts that are ambiguous and bothersome are over. Fights are good for relationships. It’s how you fight that matters. Are your fights optimistic or pessimistic? Do you fight nicely or violently? That makes a big difference and I can feel it. To know the devil is to know God. Or, in layman terms, to know bitterness is to know sweetness. Happy! :D

Sleepy now… Thank you, Universe! You are the best.

Things to Ponder

Published by moneymagnetbabe under Tze Ping

Such a productive but boring day. I spent my time on work for my business. It’s the once a month thingy -> Payroll.

Remember when I told you about my consultation with a Feng Shui/Fortune Master (from my post Simplicity)? Well, thinking back on the experience, something the master said really bothered me.

He was telling us how they use birthdate, face fortune and palm reading to read a person’s fortune. After congratulating my dad for having two daughters with very good face fortune (hehe), he told me to show him my palm. At one quick glance, he blurted in a voice so loud as though we are deaf, “Wow! You have a lot of things to think about, haven’t you?” Totally puzzled, I asked him what made him think so. He said I have a lot of lines in my palms. Argh! I murmured (very unwillingly) some words to agree with him. KNS. :P

Yes. I do have a lot on my mind. From thing A, I can relate to thing B and i’ll start thinking about thing B. Then, thing C will pop up and then I’ll be thinking about it. Thing C may relate back to thing A and I’ll think about thing A again. If not, thing C may bring up thing X and … go figure! It’s a never-ending process. I don’t see this as a bad thing. After all, use it or lose it.

So, why did I write this entry? Hmm… the reason is too personal to disclose. Just really wanted to pen down my thoughts (at least half of it) in my journal.
