Holiday tomorrow!!!

This is the first Forex Gathering I’ve attended since my shop opened. 9 months. Wow! Has it been that long? I’m a a little embarrassed to tell friends that I have stopped trading. Perhaps it’s time to pick it up where I last left it.

I managed to catch up with a lot of friends who I haven’t seen since ages. Networking is what I love to do…. It seems that I love to network more than trading Forex. Opps!

I’m very happy today after all the drama I had last 2 weeks. Like I always say, happy and positive people keeps me going. The more I have around me, the happier I become. When I’m in good mood, good things will come to me. This is Law of Attraction.

While I was driving home, I started to think about all this troubling issues I have. I realised I’m being too hard on myself. Yes. No doubt the situation has gotten from bad to worse. On the bright side, I’ve got a big green light to execute what I want to do today. The question now is… where to find it? Universe, please help me. Thank you!

At times it seems there will be no light at the end of the tunnel. But hey. What is the worst that can happen? This timing for this tweet couldn’t have been any better….

Am ready to go to bed now. Spent the half of my day fixing some business related things. The other half day helping XCool on his new project. He is rushing to get it out this weekend and has been working non-stop.

Sometimes I feel that I have some psychic power. Well, at least for now, I can foresee myself having the chance to play with an iPad very very soon! (next month?)

Very tiring day. Had a long weekly meeting with my staff trashing out everything under my restaurant’s roof. While we were conducting the meeting, some contractors and suppliers came to fix something new in my shop.

Later that evening, I met up with XCool for dinner and headed to his house to do some work. I had to count the money from my restaurant’s tip-box as the coins are pilling and it’s getting really heavy! While counting, I received this SMS from my fookie friend CheeryDiva. It displayed “So happy!!! Saw d new tv in ur shop”.

Yes! You’ve guessed it! The contractors and suppliers were in my shop earlier today to install a TV and Astro. The Astro has not been activated yet and we taped a sign “Coming Soon!” on the TV screen. How exciting! New addition for our football and MTV fans’ pleasure.

At XCool’s house, he gave me a quick overview on XCode. XCode is the programming language for iPhone apps. Although I told myself that I don’t want to do computer programming anymore last time (other than a little here and there to customize my blog), I think it’s time to pick it up again. *For those of you who don’t know me, I worked as a programmer in mainframe, Business Intelligence (mainly Hyperion) and JavaScript.*

After all, who can be better to learn it from than the best-selling app developer?

Just got home from a super long and fun day. Woke up early in the morning to do a spot check on my staff. Very soon, XCool picked me up and we drove all the way to KL city center.

I gave a surprise lunch visit for my UOB ex-colleagues. Oh, how I miss them! Jolly good time catching up. There were more than 10 of them!

After lunch, we sent the Nintendo Wii Console XCool bought for me to be repaired in one of the gaming shops around that area. (Yay! Will get to play Wii again very very soon! ). Then, XCool and I continued our day in The Gardens Midvalley. He needed to attend a business meeting at 6pm so we hung out in Borders Starbucks to pass our time. Midway, I sneaked out to shop and got myself a new top. ^^

At 6pm, we met up with his business associates. After the meeting, we decided to catch “Up In The Air” in The Gardens Signature Cinema. The last time we went there was during one of our earliest dates. I forgot how comfortable the couch-like seats are. The cinema is really cold though. Note to self: Bring cardigan/pashmina when revisiting this cinema.

I went to a wholesaler complex in KL today. It was quite an interesting trip. I bought facial mask for RM2 each. Hehe.

Last night, I celebrated my dad’s birthday with my sis and XCool. We brought him to Ninja Jones at North Point. Sorry. No photos because I am not a food blogger. Maybe I will start taking more pictures to show. The restaurant is a high class Japanese one. They have swords and shurikens displayed on their walls. Pretty nice ambience. Food was great too but quite pricey. Happy birthday, dad!

Oh yah, I realised a mistake I’ve made in my previous blog entry. I shouldn’t have said “No Stress”. As two of my self-claimed NLP mentors, Dr. Ernest and Anthony Robbins, said, use your words carefully. Use only positive words. So instead, I’ll say “Relax and Enjoy!” It’s true. Just a mere change in the use of words, the whole sentence have a different meaning.

Just Relax and Enjoy!

Watched the movie this afternoon. Although the story has an interesting twist at the end, but I felt that the action scenes were exaggerated. Overall, just okay.

Yup. Today (March 16) was a pretty eventful day. Woke up early to spot check my staff during shop opening. Then, went to Pyramid with XCool. He has a business appointment with his friend so I went shopping and drink-coffee-browse-internet at Starbucks. After he’s done with the meeting was when we decided to catch “From Paris With Love”.

Then he came to my house and fire up our Macs. He taught me some stuff and I try to listened as attentively as possible for a tired soul who had a long day. Went back to my shop to do closing.

It’s 1:52 am now and I can’t sleep yet! I’ve calibrated my Mac and now waiting for it to be fully recharged before shutting it down. Hurry up, Mac! It’s raining outside and this tired soul needs to go to bed.
